Both have very distinct characteristics and uses. Have you ever tried to use a boomerang in a game of horseshoes? They are actually not very interchangeable. And if you used the wrong implement for the wrong occasion it could prove disastrous. Funny though how common sense this seems and yet we rush into situations all the time without much thought or intent. We get there and just start doing stuff. If we would just take the time to learn the game and the resources available then the outcome could be so much better and most important: enjoyable.
